We had a great presentation on the transmitter hide-and-seek, direction finding version of fox hunting at the last LOCOARC meeting. Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the winter months there is a QRP (low power) CW (morse code) version of fox hunts that take place on the 40 and 80 meter bands. Stations are scheduled two at a time to act as the "fox". The "hounds" try to find them and make contact. Everyone uses 5 watts or less of transmitter power. That's about all there is to it. It is amazingly difficult and sometimes fun. You can find QRP Fox Hunt information at the website www.qrpfoxhunt.org
