I have been watching this site for a while as their product evolves. I have been continually impressed by the product and the price. Give a look into Genesis Radio out of Australia at www.genesisradio.com.au

The soft rock kit QRP SDR can be found here at fivedash.com It looks like they are being marketed by someone else now. In the past I used to check availability on a weekly basis and they were NEVER in stock. Looks like that may have been corrected.

I have the SoftRock RXTX Ensemble Transceiver Kit from fivedash.com but have not assembled it yet. There is a segment called "Smoke and Solder" on the Ham Nation weekly show at twit.tv/hn, where our Mississippi native George Thomas actually build and test this kit step by step in several episodes. It is very interesting to see his method to solder the SMD components with an embossing gun. Episodes can be viewed or D/L from the website. Live show every Wednesday at 8:00 PM Central.

Dental tools (#6 & #23 explorers), tooth picks, and flux paste are most helpful when hand soldering SMT components.
